Easter Airfield is a beautiful grass strip, located in the Scottish Highlands.

Postioned at the western end of the Tarbet Ness penninsula, slightly east of the Cromarty Gap (Nigg Bay), Easter Airfield is easily found, being adjacent to the southern boundary of Fearn disused aerodrome, just within the SW corner of the fast-jet range D703, Royal Air Force Tain. Don't let that put you off visiting on a weekday though! Our friends in the tower at RAF Tain are always willing to accommodate visiting aircraft, providing the pilot has called for a telephone briefing prior to getting airborne (see procedures below).

The airfield was constructed from "scratch" by its owner, David Munro. The grass runway is level and firm, measuring 650m x 50m.  For a briefing and to obtain PPR, please call either Dickie on  01862 871555 or 07973 851944 email mauk@btconnect.com or David on 01862 832900 or 07967 715304 email  dhmunro@btconnect.com

All visiting pilots must have PPR and must complete the airfield log which can be found in the front office of the large green portacabin. (When getting PPR, remember to ask Dickie or David where to find the portacabin key and don't fly off with it!).

Flying at Easter Airfield is fun and really easy, but please remember to observe our

noise abatement procedure and above all, do not overfly or go near to the WHITE BUNGALOW on the approach to RWY 24 R. This is an absolute "no-go" area!
